Green Mountain Coffee Roasters, Inc. (NASDAQ: GMCR) had been lower on word that Starbucks Corporation (NASDAQ: SBUX) was going to have its own brewing initiative despite the partnership that exists between the two.  Now it appears that things might be on the mend because Green Mountain and Starbucks have announced an expanded pact.

Today’s news covers “the expansion of their strategic relationship for the manufacturing, marketing, distribution and sale of Starbucks-branded Vue™ packs for use in GMCR’s recently introduced Keurig® Vue™ Brewer.”

Shares of Starbucks are up $0.03 at $53.76 and it iw worth $40.4 billion in market capitalization today.  Green Mountain is up over 5% at $53.35 on the news.
