European Mobility Leaders Build Safe Vehicles and Robotaxi Fleets on NVIDIA Hyperion

Bolt's European robotaxi rollout alone covers at least 25,000 Level 4-capable Lucid vehicles built on Hyperion, with data collection starting in Madrid in 2027. Volvo Cars, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles and Einride are all building on the same platform, making automotive a recurring compute and software footprint across Europe.

NVIDIA's Hyperion computing platform has pulled Bolt, Volvo Cars, Mercedes-Benz, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles, and Einride onto the same underlying architecture. That roster signals European autonomy consolidating around a single compute and software stack.

Bolt's partnership with Lucid covers at least 25,000 Level 4-capable vehicles, a meaningful fleet for a robotaxi program still in its early stages. It locks in a recurring hardware and software footprint for NVIDIA well before the service is commercially live.

Data collection for the Bolt-Lucid program begins in Madrid in 2027, giving investors a concrete milestone to track. Real-world data at that scale feeds the training pipelines autonomous systems depend on, marking when the commercial value of the fleet begins to compound.

For NVIDIA, automotive is increasingly a story of recurring software and compute revenue. Five named European partners across passenger cars, commercial vehicles, and ride-hail on a common platform build the switching costs that sustain long-term margin contribution from the segment.
