Fabrinet's AI optical demand is compounding: record fiscal fourth quarter revenue of $1.316 billion rose 45% from a year ago, exceeding expectations for a fifth straight quarter. Adjusted non-GAAP EPS of $4.10 also came in above expectations.
The company is spending ahead of that demand, with inventories expanded to $1.02 billion and net property, plant and equipment nearly doubled over the year. Capacity, not orders, is now the constraint to track.
Free cash flow swung to negative $36.9 million for the quarter as fourth quarter capital expenditures outpaced operating cash flow. Investors absorbing that are betting the capacity build converts into sustained revenue growth.
