Organic orders more than doubled year over year, the clearest sign yet that the AI data center buildout is still accelerating. Management raised full-year revenue guidance to $14.45 billion to $14.85 billion, with the quarter beating EPS and revenue expectations.

Vertiv posted adjusted EPS of $2.21, beating expectations for a fifth consecutive quarter on broad demand for power and cooling infrastructure.

Adjusted operating margin expanded 290 basis points to 25.2%, so the growth is converting into profit at an improving rate while investors debate whether AI infrastructure spending has a durable floor.

Organic orders grew more than 100% year over year, and orders lead revenue by months, so the Q3 acceleration points to a structural shift in how hyperscalers commit capital to data center infrastructure.

Management raised full-year 2026 adjusted diluted EPS guidance to $7.10 to $7.20, with Q4 guidance above the quarter just reported.

The guidance raise matters as much as the quarter itself, because the stock carried real skepticism about whether AI infrastructure demand could sustain the pace implied by Vertiv's valuation. The higher outlook shifts the burden of proof onto the bears.
