About Arista Networks

Arista Networks provides data-driven, client-to-cloud networking for large AI, data center, campus and routing environments. It sells high-performance Ethernet switching and routing platforms, which generate most of its product revenue. These run on its unified network operating system, Arista EOS, and the company adds analytics, automation and security software such as Arista AVA and Netdi. Arista also earns recurring service revenue from support and maintenance contracts.

Its AI networking portfolio is built on open standards and includes:
- The Arista 7800 AI Spine.
- Etherlink architectures, including the liquid-cooled Etherlink SU-144 rack-scale system for scale-up AI fabrics based on Ethernet for Scale-Up Networks (ESUN).
- Scale-across designs that use SRv6 to link geographically distributed data centers of up to one million XPUs.

Arista partners with AMD, Arm, Broadcom, d-Matrix, Meta, Microsoft and Qualcomm on these architectures. A limited number of large customers, including cloud and AI titans, account for a substantial portion of revenue. The company relies on third-party contract manufacturers and a predominant merchant silicon vendor. Arista joined the S&P 100 in September 2026 and is on the 2026 Fortune 500 list. Updated

The leadership baton is being passed to second-tier data center names, and Cramer would rather own companies with clean balance sheets than the big caps issuing debt and equity to stay in the AI race. He is not calling a bottom yet: without a high-volume reversal day, he keeps money elsewhere.

Ullal sold stock on October 13, 22 days before standing up and calling the quarter better than her own high expectations. Insider sales at a $214 billion company often run on preset plans, but the sequence matters: she lightened up ahead of the strongest growth quarter since the IPO.

Ullal sold shares on October 8, then stood up 27 days later to call the quarter record-setting on both growth and profitability. The sale landed before the numbers were public, so the words and the trade point in opposite directions. Worth tracking whether more Form 4s follow at these levels.

She sold shares 26 days before this earnings call, so the record quarter she is describing was already in view when the Form 4 was filed. Selling into the best growth since the IPO is the kind of timing worth noting on a $214 billion company.

This strong momentum across customer sectors highlights our increased relevance for the generative and agentic AI era.

Arista's CEO is framing the $213.5 billion networking company as core infrastructure for agentic AI on the Q3 earnings call. Ethernet's widening lead over InfiniBand in AI scale-out networks is the backdrop investors should be pricing.

A CEO calling results better than her own high expectations is rare, and here it comes attached to the fastest growth Arista has posted in its 12 years as a public company. The AI networking buildout is landing in the income statement, with profitability at a record too.
