About Cameco
Cameco Corporation is one of the world's largest providers of uranium fuel for nuclear power generation. The company operates two uranium mines (Cigar Lake and McArthur River) and the Key Lake mill in northern Saskatchewan, Canada, and holds a 40% interest in JV Inkai, a uranium mining joint venture in Kazakhstan. Cameco also provides nuclear fuel processing services, including uranium refining (Blind River, Ontario), UF6 conversion (Port Hope, Ontario), and CANDU fuel manufacturing (Port Hope and Cobourg, Ontario). The company holds a 49% interest in Westinghouse Electric Company, one of the world's largest nuclear services businesses and the original equipment manufacturer of the AP1000 reactor technology, as well as a 49% interest in Global Laser Enrichment (GLE), which is developing third-generation laser enrichment technology. Cameco's integrated fuel and reactor life cycle strategy spans uranium mining, fuel processing, conversion, and reactor technology services, positioning the company across the entire nuclear fuel value chain. The company sells the majority of its uranium and fuel services under long-term contracts denominated primarily in US dollars, with a growing mix of market-related pricing mechanisms. Cameco trades on both the Toronto Stock Exchange (CCO) and the New York Stock Exchange (CCJ). Updated
