Medtronic's CEO just took $4.75 million off the table, trimming 18% of his personal stake right after the company raised fiscal 2027 guidance. No 10b5-1 plan was disclosed on the filing, which makes it a discretionary sale.

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 10/14/26
- Hot CPI, up 0.6% from August to September, plus rising oil leaves the next Fed move genuinely unclear
- Bank stocks sold off on good quarters: Morgan Stanley dropped seven bucks, Citi and Wells Fargo found no footing
- CoreWeave's slide and distressed neocloud debt are dragging on the broader tape
- Amazon, Walmart and Costco seen as the retailers that would roll back prices if oil collapses
Cramer's point for anyone holding bank stocks: solid results are no longer being rewarded, and the charts have turned ugly regardless. The bigger swing factor is oil. If the war ends, he expects crude to be cut in half, which would reset inflation and the Fed debate overnight.
Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 10/1/26
- Cramer still buys Palantir at $190 after the stock gained 60% in Q3 and stalled short of his $250 target
- Salesforce, up 46.5%, called the better SaaS-apocalypse rebound than Veeva at 30 times earnings
- Caterpillar's 24% Q3 profit taking framed as a buying chance on data center engine demand
- IBM, down 22% on its miss, gets the wait-a-quarter rule; Home Depot stays hostage to rates
Cramer wants to add software as the bounce-back trade and the beaten-down industrial names tied to data center power. He also warns that rising rates are the real threat heading into earnings season in a couple of weeks.
Medtronic raised its FY27 organic revenue growth outlook to 7.25% to 7.75% after beating on both lines, and that guidance lift matters more than a fifth straight EPS beat. Cardiovascular carried it, led by Electrophysiology Therapies revenue up 29.5%.
