About PPG Industries
PPG Industries develops, manufactures and sells paints, coatings and specialty products. It markets in more than 50 countries and reported net sales of $15.9 billion in 2025.
It operates three reportable segments:
- Global Architectural Coatings: decorative paints and coatings sold through retail and project channels, with significant operations in EMEA, Latin America (including Mexico) and Asia Pacific.
- Performance Coatings: aerospace coatings, protective and marine coatings, automotive refinish coatings and traffic solutions.
- Industrial Coatings: automotive OEM coatings, general industrial coatings and packaging coatings for customers such as can and container makers.
PPG serves customers in construction, consumer products, industrial and transportation markets and aftermarkets. It relies on product differentiation, pricing actions (including index-based pricing in industrial markets) and productivity programs to manage raw material and other cost inflation. It also pursues bolt-on acquisitions and divestitures of non-core businesses. Updated
