About Eagle Materials

Eagle Materials Inc. (NYSE: EXP) is a U.S. manufacturer of heavy construction products and light building materials. It operates through more than 70 facilities across 21 states.

The business is organized into two sectors:
- **Heavy Materials:** Portland Cement from wholly owned plants, plus a 50% interest in the Texas Lehigh Cement Company LP joint venture (accounted for under the equity method), along with Concrete and Aggregates.
- **Light Materials:** Gypsum Wallboard and Recycled Paperboard. Paperboard is sold partly to the company's own wallboard operations and partly under long-term agreements with input-cost-linked pricing.

Its products serve infrastructure (roads and highways), residential, commercial and industrial construction and renovation. Demand is therefore tied to public infrastructure spending, non-residential construction and housing activity.

The company is investing in modernizing its Mountain Cement plant and its Duke, Oklahoma wallboard plant to lower costs and add capacity. It is also returning capital through share repurchases. Updated
