Markets in Europe were up slightly at 6.05 AM New York time.

The FTSE was up .3% to 6,295. Barclays was flat at 734. BP was up .3% to 526.5. BT was up .4% to 301.5. GlaxoSmithKline was up .9% to 1448. Prudential was up .7% to 688. Reuters was up .1% to 444.75. Unilever was up .9% to 1395. Vodafone was up .2% to 139.75.

The DAXX was up .3% to 6,734. Bayer was up 2.9% to 45.08. Daimler was down .1% to 52.77. DeutscheBank was up .5% to 99.37. Deutsche Telekom was up .3% to 12.62. SAP was up .1% to 35.11. Siemens was up 1.5% to 81.24.

The CAC 40 was up .1% to 5,545. Alcatel-Lucent was down .7% to 9.14. AXA was up .1% to 32.19. France Telecom was up .2% to 19.87. ST Micro was up .3% to 14.59. Vivendi was up .1% to 29.74.
