Markets in Europe were slightly higher.

At 6.15 AM, the FTSE was up .3% to 6,417.

Barclays was down .1% to 732. BT was up .2% to 311.75. BP was flat at 554.5. GSK was down .1% to 1418. Prudential was up 1.1% to 751. Reuters was up .2% to 494. Unilever was up .5% to 1542. Vodafone was up 1.1% to 138.2.

The DAXX was up .6% to 7,140. Bayer was up 1.1% to 49.7. DeutscheBank was up 1.1% to 103.66. DaimlerChrysler was up 2.9% to 61.94. Deutche Telekom was down .3% to 12.85. SAP was down .5% to 34.6. Siemens was up 1.4% to 84.25.

The CAC 40 was up .2% to 5,750. Alcatel-Lucent was down 1.7% to 9.28. AXA was up 1% to 32.69. France Telecom was up .5% to 20.47. Vivendi was up .1% to 31.12. ST Micro was down .1% to 14.8.
