The 52-Week Low Club for Thursday

February 5, 2015: Here are four stocks among the 58 equities making new 52-week lows today.

Ralph Lauren Corp. (NYSE: RL) dropped about 2.3% on Thursday to establish a new 52-week low at $136.50 against a high of $187.49 after dropping 18% to a new low on Wednesday. Volume was about 3-times the daily average of around 1 million shares. The apparel maker reported weak quarterly earnings on Wednesday and downgrades followed this morning.

Prudential Financial Inc. (NYSE: PRU) dropped about 6.7% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $74.51 after closing at $79.89 on Wednesday. The stock’s 52-week high is $94.30. Share volume was nearly 3-times the daily average of around 2.9 million shares traded. The insurance and financial services firm missed estimates when it reported earnings on Wednesday and the stock took a price target cut today from analysts at Barclays.

iRobot Corp. (NASDAQ: IRBT) dropped about 12% on Thursday to post a new 52-week low of $28.05. The stock’s 52-week high is $48.36. Volume was about 9-times the daily average of around 400,000 shares. The robot maker offered weak guidance when it reported earnings on Wednesday evening.

Ubiquiti Networks Inc. (NASDAQ: UBNT) posted a new 52-week low on Thursday. Shares dropped about 6% to $25.67 from Tuesday’s closing price of $27.31. The stock’s 52-week high is $56.85. Volume is about 3-times the daily average of around 1 million shares. The company reports earnings after the bell Thursday afternoon.
