Pre-Market Stock Futures:

Futures are trading higher after a rough week in which sellers moved hard against the big tech companies, which reported mostly solid results. Still, massive spending on AI, free cash flow that has reversed to negative in some cases, and a broader shift in investor sentiment helped drive stocks lower. This morning, tumbling oil prices and yields, combined with a rally in the tech sector as investors sift through the wreckage for bargains, are helping to drive sentiment higher and contributing to the potential for a positive start to the week.

With mid-term elections on tap, more high-profile earnings as third-quarter results head to the finish line, and key inflation data, investors have a lot on their plate this morning as we begin November with the potential for a positive start to the new week and month. With Apple’s (NASDAQ: AAPL | AAPL Price Prediction) results after the close today, investors are buying mega-cap tech giants this morning after a 5.2% drop in the Nasdaq in October.
