Prediction: What Will 100 Litecoin (LTC) Be Worth by 2030?

Litecoin holders are betting on a price target that would require a market value not seen since 2021, but the coin's ETFs and its relationship with Bitcoin tell two very different stories about whether that level is reachable by 2030.

A holding of 100 Litecoin (CRYPTO:LTC) is worth about $5,948, with LTC currently trading near $59. LTC fell 3.3% over the past 24 hours. Over the last month, it moved between a high of $80 on September 24 and a low of $57 on October 18.

The longer view is mixed. LTC has gained 33.0% over the past 90 days, but it’s down 19.7% this year and trades 85.5% below its May 9, 2021 record of $410.26. At that peak, 100 LTC would have been worth $41,026.

Holders often talk about where LTC could be by 2030, with $100, $200, and a return to the record as the usual round numbers. We use each one only as an example level. So what could 100 LTC realistically be worth by 2030?

What 100 LTC Would Be Worth at $100, $200 and Its Record

Market value, or market cap, is a coin’s price multiplied by the number of coins in circulation. It’s the simplest way to compare a coin’s size over time. About 77.7 million LTC are in circulation out of a maximum of 84 million, which puts Litecoin’s market value near $4.6 billion.

LTC Price Value of 100 LTC Implied Market Value Gain Needed
$100 $10,000 $7.8 billion 68.1%
$200 $20,000 $15.5 billion 236.2%
$410.26 $41,026 $31.9 billion 589.7%

New supply makes each level harder to reach. Miners keep creating new LTC until they hit the 84 million cap, so the same price means a bigger market value each year. Litecoin set its record when fewer coins circulated, so matching $410.26 would require a market value of $31.9 billion.

Still, recent history supports $100. LTC ended a month at $107 as recently as September 2025. By contrast, LTC last ended a month above $200 in November 2021, at $208, and it hasn’t done so since.

Litecoin ETFs Hold Only $14.3 Million

Spot exchange-traded funds (ETFs) are funds that hold the actual coin and trade like stocks. The Canary Litecoin ETF (NASDAQ:LTCC) trades on the Nasdaq. As of October 21, U.S. spot Litecoin ETFs held $14.3 million in total net assets, and investors had put a net $16.9 million into them since launch.

The funds’ best day in the past month came on September 24, when they took in $1.7 million. LTC opened at $62, jumped to $80, and closed at $72, a 16.3% gain. That suggests the fresh ETF money helped lift the price that day.

However, the funds took in no new money on October 21. For comparison, Bitcoin ETFs took in $731 million in a single day in September, so Litecoin’s funds trail the larger crypto ETFs by a wide margin. Since even $100 means a $7.8 billion market value, ETF demand for LTC would need to grow a lot.

Litecoin Needs a Bitcoin Rally to Climb

Litecoin often moves with Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC), which trades near $81,800. Over the past 90 days, Bitcoin rose 31.4%, and LTC gained 33.0%.

Over longer stretches, however, LTC has fallen behind. In the past year, LTC lost 32.9% while Bitcoin dropped 21.8%. Over five years, LTC fell 68.6% while Bitcoin rose 37.5%.

The last big crypto rally shows what a strong market could do for LTC. Its monthly close climbed 86%, from $69 in October 2024 to $128 in January 2025. Even then, LTC stayed far below $200.

Can 100 LTC Reach $10,000 by 2030?

We think $100 is the most realistic LTC price for 2030, making 100 LTC worth $10,000. LTC ended a month above $100 as recently as 2025. However, $200 and the record look unlikely by 2030, because both need market values Litecoin hasn’t held since 2021, spread across more coins. If ETF demand fades, LTC could slide back toward its June 2026 low of $39, pushing $100 further away.

LTC would need to clear a few levels first. It would have to break above its $80 high from September and then its $85 high from January, which could put $100 within reach. ETF inflows would also need to keep growing while Bitcoin trends higher. A monthly close above $85 would be the clearest sign that $10,000 for 100 LTC is in sight.
