“Captain America: The Winger Soldier” has topped the box office charts for the past two weeks and has hauled in some $207 million for Buena Vista studios and parent Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS). There is a chance, though, that a new movie starring three women could turn the tables this week.

The contender is “The Other Woman” from Twenty-First Century Fox Inc. (NASDAQ: FOXA) starring Cameron Diaz, Leslie Mann and Kate Upton. The comedy centers on three women who get together to take revenge on the guy who is sleeping with all three of them. “The Other Woman” is also one of the rare movies that feature three female leads, according to Box Office Mojo.

“Heaven Is for Real” is in its second week of release and is another holdover that may challenge “Captain America” for the top spot. The family drama took in $7 million last week for TriStar, a Sony Corp. (NYSE: SNE) company. For contrast, “Captain America” raked in $57 million last week, well shy of its $150 million opening weekend.

A couple of other new films this week are action flick “Brick Mansions” from Relativity Studios and “The Quiet Ones,” a horror film from Lions Gate Entertainment Corp. (NYSE: LGF). Both open this weekend, and both are touted to post less than $10 million at the box office.

Box Office Mojo forecasts “The Other Woman” for $17 million in receipts, ahead of $14.2 million for “Heaven Is for Real,” $13.7 million for “Rio 2” and $13.6 million for “Captain America.”
