Sirius XM Gears Up for NBA Season

As the National Basketball Association (NBA) season is about to tip off, fans will be following the action as it progresses. Sirius XM Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: SIRI) has one way for fans to keep up with their favorite teams and players on the go. The satellite radio company is offering a nationwide comprehensive coverage of the 2015-16 NBA season.

The station will offer a live play-by-play of every game from the opening night (October 27) through the NBA Finals, plus daily in-depth talk and analysis on Sirius XM NBA Radio.

NBA programming is available to subscribers with the company’s XM Select, Sirius Premier or Sirius All-Access plans. Those satellite radio subscribers who add Sirius XM Internet Radio access to their subscription also get access to every team’s official radio broadcast for every game on the Sirius XM app.

In addition to live play-by-play, fans will have access to the most extensive and in-depth NBA coverage available on radio through the Sirius XM NBA Radio channel. It will air nationwide on satellite and on the app. The channel offers live game broadcasts and a daily schedule of NBA-focused news and talk from a distinguished roster of hosts, including: Vinny Del Negro, Mike Dunleavy Sr., Rick Fox, Eddie Johnson, Stacey King, Rick Mahorn, Brian Scalabrine, Mateen Cleaves and others.

Also fans will be able to call in to discuss the latest headlines and weigh in with their opinions on the issues of the day. The channel also will feature regular interviews with current players, coaches and NBA legends, as well as on-location broadcasts from special events and more.

24/7 Wall Street just posted an analyst report that calls for Sirius XM shares to rise to $5, an upside of over 25%. This came after the company reported earnings of $0.03 per share and consolidated revenues of $1.17 billion.

Shares of Sirius XM were last seen trading up 1.4% at $4.02 Friday, with a consensus analyst price target of $4.63 and a 52-week trading range of $3.27 to $4.07.
