We ordered these aircraft chronologically and included supplemental information regarding the type of aircraft, total units produced, top speed, and armament.
One of these most iconic planes is the F/A-18 Super Hornet. Dating back to 1999, this fighter jet still plays heavily in air combat, making up a large percentage of the Air Force’s arsenal. It is used for the purposes of reconnaissance and interception.
