Trump’s dinner date with Tim Cook: Will we get a readout?

Last time they met, Trump told Cook he would not place tariffs on iPhones made in China.

I’m trying to wean myself of @realDonaldTrump’s twitter feed, but on Friday, at 5:47 p.m., we got this:

Had a very good phone call with @EmmanuelMacron, President of France. Discussed various subjects, in particular Security and Trade. Many other calls and conversations today. Looking forward to dinner tonight with Tim Cook of Apple. He is investing big dollars in U.S.A.

My take: So what happened? Voters have a right to know, and so do investors if it’s material.
