New 52-week high$1,085.42+3.1% vs prior high · 2026-05-11
Lumentum cleared $1,085.42, taking out its May 11 record by 3.07% and ending nearly five months of chop below that line. The optical name now carries a $97.4 billion market cap.
Nineteen stocks cleared fresh 52-week highs this week, and Hewlett Packard Enterprise led the pack by topping its prior peak by 9.2% at $69.33. ASE Technology, AMC, Moderna and a cluster of security names including CrowdStrike and Palo Alto Networks also broke out.
Three names in our 383-stock board closed with double-digit gains, led by Accenture's 15.6% jump to $211.97, a move that size is rare for a mega-cap consultant. The downside was far tamer, with AMC's 8.2% slide the worst of it.
Bloom Energy closed up 11.21% at $292.34, the only double-digit gain in a 383-name priority list. The other end was just as loud: AMC and DraftKings both gave up more than 7%.
Eric Bleeker's AI Portfolio pick in Lumentum has turned an $83.85 entry into a 11x position in 690 days, one of the few optical names to ride the AI data center buildout this far. Eleven-bagger in under two years is rare air, and the position is still compounding.
Lumentum has turned every $1,000 into nearly $11,000 since Eric Bleeker added it to the AI Portfolio in November 2024. Less than two years to get there, and the optical networking buildout behind it is still ramping.
AI optics demand just doubled Lumentum's quarterly revenue year over year, and management now sees $4.05 to $4.35 in EPS next quarter, hitting its target operating model more than a quarter early.
