Barrick Mining Corporation is a global mining, exploration, and development company with one of the largest portfolios of gold and copper assets in the industry. Operations and projects span 17 countries across five continents. Barrick is the largest gold producer in the United States through its 61.5% ownership of Nevada Gold Mines, a joint venture with Newmont Corporation. Key gold assets include Carlin, Cortez, and Turquoise Ridge in Nevada; Pueblo Viejo in the Dominican Republic (60% ownership); Loulo-Gounkoto in Mali (80%); Kibali in the Democratic Republic of Congo (45% equity method); and North Mara and Bulyanhulu in Tanzania (84% each). Copper operations include the Lumwana mine in Zambia and equity interests in Zaldívar and Jabal Sayid (50% each). The company is advancing several growth projects including the Fourmile gold project in Nevada, the Lumwana Super Pit Expansion, the Ren deposit at Carlin, the Pueblo Viejo life of mine expansion, and the Reko Diq copper-gold project in Pakistan (currently under review due to security concerns). Barrick is pursuing a minority-stake IPO of its North American gold assets (North American Barrick) targeting completion by year-end 2026.
