About Google

Alphabet Inc. is the holding company for Google and a collection of other businesses. It reports three segments: Google Services, Google Cloud and Other Bets.

Google Services covers ads, Android, Chrome, consumer devices, Google Maps, Google Play, Search and YouTube. It earns revenue mainly from advertising (Google Search & other, YouTube ads and Google Network). It also earns from consumer subscriptions such as YouTube TV, YouTube Music and Premium, NFL Sunday Ticket and Google One, from app and in-app purchases, and from consumer devices.

Google Cloud sells infrastructure and platform services, applications and other enterprise products. Its revenue comes from consumption-based fees and subscriptions for Google Cloud Platform and Google Workspace, and increasingly from product sales of its TPU AI accelerator systems. Demand for enterprise AI infrastructure and AI solutions is now its primary growth engine.

Other Bets generates revenue mainly from autonomous transportation services and internet services.

Alphabet also funds shared AI research centrally, including its Gemini family of models and the Gemini app. It is investing heavily in technical infrastructure and funds part of that build-out through debt, at-the-market equity issuance and mandatory convertible preferred stock, while paying quarterly common dividends. METAsouring fast

AMD's earnings have retail traders arguing both sides across 603 comments, the loudest board on Reddit today. Meanwhile the mood is souring fast on Meta and heating up fast on Nvidia, a sign the AI trade is rotating.

A small-cap miner turned AI landlord now borrows on Google's credit, which changes the cost of funding a $19 billion, 20-year Anthropic lease.

TeraWulf $WULF has secured credit support from $GOOGL for debt financing tied to its previously announced $19B, 20-year Anthropic lease at the Justified Data Campus in Kentucky. Google's backing strengthens the project's financing profile and could help TeraWulf secure more https://t.co/f5JsaSgknY

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 11/3/26

  • Cramer calls the mega caps millstones: Nasdaq rose 0.83% while the Dow fell 197 points
  • Strong after-hours results from AMD and Arista Networks as proof non-Magnificent-Seven tech can lead
  • Oracle's $10 billion block priced at $116 and traded to $126, a sign buyers see a floor in tech
  • Wants a crescendo washout before committing more; Apple's reaction and a Palantir selloff weighed

The leadership baton is being passed to second-tier data center names, and Cramer would rather own companies with clean balance sheets than the big caps issuing debt and equity to stay in the AI race. He is not calling a bottom yet: without a high-volume reversal day, he keeps money elsewhere.

Alphabet is funding its AI buildout with other people's money, borrowing 6 billion euros in Europe rather than leaning on cash flow. Big Tech's shift from self-funded capex to debt markets is the story to track.

Four of the market's largest cash machines now spend $201.9 billion a quarter on AI buildout, so the free cash flow that funded buybacks and dividends is the line to watch next earnings season.

AI is burning Big Tech's free cash flow: The combined CapEx of Amazon, $AMZN, Alphabet, $GOOGL, Meta, $META, and Microsoft, $MSFT, rose +$36.9 billion in Q3 2026, to a record $201.9 billion. This figure has more than doubled over the last 12 months and is up +356% since Q1 https://t.co/1bDyyin35Y

Big Tech's selloff has Reddit arguing with itself: traders are split on Reddit's own stock, which drew 2,030 comments today, and on Alphabet, where the mood is souring fast. ServiceNow is the one name the crowd has turned outright bearish on, while Apple still has fans.

Does Google even need to advertise to Indians workers? Are they not gonna apply either way?

Retail is turning Alphabet's selloff into a headcount argument, with 361 comments treating viral office-perk reels as proof that cost cuts are the next catalyst. Whether or not the videos mean anything, the layoff-equals-margin reflex is how this crowd is now trading big tech.
