About Nu Holdings

Nu Holdings Ltd. is a digital financial services platform operating primarily in Brazil, Mexico, and Colombia. Through its subsidiaries, the company offers credit cards (via Mastercard), personal loans, digital bank accounts (NuAccount), investment brokerage, insurance, and payment services — all managed through a smartphone app. Its Brazilian operations include Nu Pagamentos (credit cards and payments), Nu Financeira (personal loans and deposits), and Nu Investimentos (digital investment brokerage). In Mexico, the company recently commenced operations as a full-service multiple bank following CNBV authorization, expanding beyond credit cards and deposits into broader lending products. In Colombia, it operates as a financial company offering credit cards and digital accounts. The company has received conditional approval from the U.S. OCC to form a national bank, which would enable it to offer deposit accounts, credit cards, lending, and digital-asset custody services in the United States. Nu recently announced the acquisition of Banco Porto Real de Investimentos S.A. to add a banking license to its Brazilian financial conglomerate, complying with regulatory requirements on brand name standardization. The company also holds strategic investments in Tyme Group (South Africa and Southeast Asia neobanking), Jupiter (India neobank), dBank (Pakistan fintech), and Tempo Labs (North American fintech). Shares trade on the NYSE under the ticker 'NU'. Updated
