The company operates across five complementary lending verticals: Sponsor Finance (enterprise value secured term loans to private equity-backed growth companies), Equipment Finance (financing mission-critical manufacturing equipment and hard assets), Tech Lending (senior secured term loans to institutionally-backed technology companies), Asset-Based Lending (revolving credit lines to bankruptcy-remote SPVs), and Healthcare & Life Sciences (senior secured term loans to commercial-stage life sciences companies). Trinity Capital's platform supports transaction sizes up to $100 million and maintains first-call relationships with venture capital and growth-stage private equity firms. The company supplements its direct lending operations with strategic joint ventures, including Senior Credit Corp 2022 LLC and a 50/50 joint venture with Capital Southwest, as well as a managed funds platform through its wholly owned registered investment adviser subsidiary, Trinity Capital Adviser LLC. As of June 30, 2026, the company managed approximately $3.2 billion in total platform assets under management, with an investment portfolio of $2.7 billion at fair value across 190 portfolio companies.
