Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 10/7/26

  • Cramer splits the market in two: credit-dependent names like Caterpillar, Ford and IBM versus AI borrowers that price near Treasuries
  • SpaceX seeking $40 billion to buy Nvidia chips at triple-B rating, while Paramount Skydance bondholders got hit at 8%
  • Oracle flagged as the one data-center name still exposed to credit market scrutiny
  • Caller advice: swap Western Digital into cheaper Micron; Vertiv the pick after GE Vernova on data center infrastructure

AI and data-center names no longer trade off Treasury auctions, so a weak auction hits the industrial and consumer side of your book while chip and power names sail through, with Oracle the named exception. On the calls, he pushed Micron over Western Digital and ranked Vertiv right behind GE Vernova on infrastructure.

Tesla's energy arm now dispatches power like a utility peaker plant, with 601 MW pulled from California homes during peak demand.

Tesla just had the biggest residential Virtual Power Plant event in history. During peak demand in California yesterday, 85,774 homes with @Tesla Powerwalls delivered 601 MW to the grid, with the total fleet peaking at a record 634 MW, roughly the output of a large utility-scale https://t.co/JpjwkFbLUE

GOOGLsouring fast

Retail traders are split on the broad market even as it draws 278 comments, the most of any name today, while Tesla, McDonald's, MicroStrategy and SPCX all pull bullish chatter. Sentiment on Google is souring fast.

$2,000,000 Full Porting $SPCX - I've Doubled My Previous Yolo (Reference Link)

Ok guys he posted, time to dump it!

A trader says his $1 million margin YOLO doubled in two months, and he's answering by piling another $1 million of margin gains into a single de-SPAC name plus Tesla and McDonald's. Max margin turns any drawdown into a forced seller, which is the part these updates never show until it happens.

Halving AI5 memory to 72GB is a bet that scarce LPDDR supply is the gate on Optimus volume rather than silicon design, and Musk says the performance cost is negligible.

@DirtyTesLa We cut our RAM in half for the Tesla AI5 chip (now 72GB of LP5) and 1/3 for AI6 (now 144GB of LP6). This was the only way to get enough volume for Optimus production and greatly reduces cost. As it turns out, we think this will have a negligible effect on Optimus performance,

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/28/26

  • Cramer stays with Intel and Meta, calling Meta's Muse agentic platform a CPU-driven demand cycle for Intel, AMD and Arm
  • Intel fell 7 points; he frames the pullback after a parabolic run as another entry chance
  • Nvidia's $150 billion buyback, the largest ever, plus its plan to rein in autonomous AI agents
  • Chevron called the king of oil; Enbridge flagged for its 6% yield, with Microsoft's Copilot and Apple also named

With breadth the narrowest since the dot-com unwind, Cramer's answer is to concentrate: energy for pricing power, CPU names for a product cycle that higher rates cannot dent. Owners of Intel get told the 7-point drop is an invitation, and Nvidia holders get the biggest buyback ever as the floor under the stock.

Two more months before Europe even votes on FSD approval, pushing any software revenue from the region into 2027 at the earliest.

We think that during the next 3 to 5 years, we will be seeing regularly and perhaps on average, growth north of 7%.

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/24/26

  • Cramer pushes back on index-fund supremacy, calling the absolutist version of it wrong
  • Still recommends 50% of savings in an S&P 500 fund as a hedge against your own mistakes
  • Argues the S&P holds far fewer than 500 good stocks, so you buy the bad with the good
  • Caller questions on portfolio structure for young investors, 529 plans, and retirement vs. mad money

Put half in an index fund as insurance, the other half in individual names you have actually done the homework on. Cramer's case is that an S&P 500 fund gives you 8% to 10% a year and mediocrity alongside the winners, which is why he says it will not make you rich on its own.
