Grupo Televisa S.A.B. is a major Mexican telecommunications company that owns and operates one of the largest cable network groups and a direct-to-home satellite pay television system in Mexico. Its cable networks offer integrated services including high-speed broadband, video, mobile (via MVNO), and voice to residential and commercial customers, as well as managed telecommunications services to domestic and international enterprises. Televisa also provides pay television and broadband services through its satellite platform. The company holds government concessions to broadcast programming for TelevisaUnivision over television stations. Televisa is the largest shareholder of TelevisaUnivision, Inc., a media company producing and distributing Spanish-language content across Mexico, the United States, and over 50 countries through broadcast channels, cable operators, and OTT services. Since Q4 2025, the company reports its Cable and Sky operations as a single Telecom segment with three revenue categories: Residential, Satellite, and Enterprise. Televisa is actively upgrading its network infrastructure to fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) technology and growing its mobile subscriber base through MVNO operations.
