Short Sellers Up Bets Against Banks

Based on Nasdaq and NYSE data for the two weeks which ended January 13, short sellers increase their bets against the big four banks

Shares short in B of A rose 18.5% to 186.1 million. The short interest in Citi was up by 19.1% to 50.3 million. Shares short in Wells Fargo were up 11.4% to 47.1 million. The short interest in JPMorganChase was up by 21.5 million to 40.6 million
