Fractures Among Greece Politicians Could Kill Bailout

The Greeks has a deal with the ECB, IMF, and EU to receive bailout money by a mid-March deadline. Then, they did not. Perhaps some of the eurozone’s nations believe they are better without the southern European nations, although no one has said that. Or, perhaps they are tired of the battles among Greece’s political factions about how much each will support austerity plans. Either way, Greece’s deal may be off again.

According to Reuters, even if all the major Greek political parties agree on the terms of a transaction, it may be too late

Greek conservative leader Antonis Samaras will send a letter of commitment to the terms of an EU/IMF bailout deal within the day, a party source said on Wednesday, with the country’s bankruptcy rescue hanging in the balance.
