Microsoft, Netflix, eBay, Johnson & Johnson and More Major Earnings Coming This Week

Now that the second-quarter earnings reporting season is just kicking off, many major companies will be sharing their results in the coming weeks. Here, 24/7 Wall St. has put together a preview of the most prominent of the many earnings reports that are expected this week.

We have included the consensus earnings estimates from Thomson Reuters, as well as the stock price and trading history. Be advised that the earnings and revenue estimates may change ahead of the formal reports, and some companies may change reporting dates as well.

Johnson & Johnson’s (NYSE: JNJ) second-quarter report is due early on Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $2.43 in earnings per share (EPS) and $20.29 billion in revenue. Shares traded at $134.30 on Friday’s close. The 52-week range trading range is $121.00 to $148.99.

United Airlines Holdings Inc. (NASDAQ: UAL) is scheduled to report its second-quarter results late Tuesday. The consensus estimates call for $4.08 in EPS and revenue of $11.34 billion. Shares were changing hands at $91.23 on last look. The analysts’ mean price target is $105.59, and the 52-week trading range is $70.93 to $97.85.

eBay Inc. (NASDAQ: EBAY) is scheduled to report its second-quarter results on Wednesday. The consensus estimates call for $0.62 in EPS and revenue of $2.67 billion. Shares were last trading at $40.06 apiece. The consensus price target is $39.99, and the 52-week trading range is $26.01 to $40.55.

Watch for Netflix Inc. (NASDAQ: NFLX) to release its most recent quarterly results late on Wednesday as well. The consensus forecast calls for $0.56 in EPS and $4.93 billion in revenue for the second quarter. Shares ended the week at $373.25. The consensus price target is $391.31, and the share price has ranged from $231.23 to $410.00 in the past 52 weeks.

Honeywell International Inc.’s (NYSE: HON) second-quarter report is set to release early on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $2.08 in EPS and $9.35 billion in revenue. Shares closed at $177.17 on Friday. The consensus price target is $181.05, and the 52-week range trading range is $123.48 to $178.47.

The UnitedHealth Group Inc. (NYSE: UNH) second-quarter report is due early on Thursday. The consensus estimates call for $3.45 in EPS and $60.58 billion in revenue. Shares closed on Friday at $265.90. The consensus price target is $287.74, and the 52-week range trading range is $208.07 to $287.94.

Microsoft Corp. (NASDAQ: MSFT) is scheduled to report its fiscal fourth-quarter earnings Thursday afternoon. The consensus estimates call for $1.21 in EPS and revenue of $32.75 billion. Shares were changing hands most recently at $138.90. The analysts’ mean price target is $144.25, and the 52-week trading range is $93.96 to $139.22.

Look for Schlumberger Ltd. (NYSE: SLB) to share its most recent quarterly results before Friday’s open. The consensus forecast calls for $0.35 in EPS and $8.12 billion in revenue for the second quarter. Shares traded at $40.81 most recently. The consensus price target is $50.47, and shares have traded between $34.46 and $68.43 in the past 52 weeks.
