Salesforce (NYSE: CRM | CRM Price Prediction) reports Q1 FY27 earnings today, May 27, around 4 PM ET. With shares down 33.94% over the past year, this earnings report needs to do real work to reset the narrative.
Proving the Agentic Story After a Brutal Year
Last quarter set a high bar. Q4 FY26 revenue came in at $11.2 billion, up 12% year-over-year, with EPS of $3.81 versus $3.05 estimated, a 24.92% beat. Agentforce reached roughly $800 million in ARR, and Agentforce plus Data 360 combined ARR topped $2.9 billion, up over 200% year-over-year.
Despite those numbers, the stock has unraveled. CRM trades at $179.48, down from $264.23 at the start of the year. The Informatica deal closed in November, and this is the first quarter with a full-period contribution. Management also guided to double-digit revenue growth by the second half of FY27, which makes Q1 the setup quarter for that re-acceleration.

Agentforce Traction and the cRPO Read
I’ll be watching three things with Salesforce’s earnings tonight. First, Agentforce ARR trajectory. The number jumped from roughly $500 million at Q3 to $800 million at Q4, and any deceleration here could read as a risk on the entire agentic thesis. 29,000 Agentforce deals closed in the first 15 months set a tough comparison.
Second, current RPO growth. Polymarket traders give a 43.3% probability to 12-13% cRPO growth in constant currency, with 31.4% on 13-14%. Anything inside that range should be enough to be viewed positively, while a result below 12% could revive the bear case.
Third, organic versus Informatica. Guidance bakes in about 3 points of growth from Informatica, so the underlying organic line needs to hold for the H2 re-acceleration story to stay intact. Robin Washington flagged neutral gross margins in the short run as Agentic Work Units scale, so margin commentary matters too.
Today, Polymarket prices a 93.5% probability of an earnings beat, and 39 of 51 analysts rate the stock a Buy with a $262.27 consensus target. This implies analysts see an average of 47% upside for the stock today.
