The Mag 7 Stock With 64% Upside That Nobody Is Calling a Bargain

Alphabet trades at a lower earnings multiple than Microsoft and Meta while growing faster than both, yet the stock sits nearly 15% below its 52-week peak. One specific catalyst in 2027 could be what finally closes that gap.

24/7 Wall St. Price Target Summary

Metric Value
Current Price $343.58
Price Target from 24/7 Wall St. $435.93
Upside/Downside 26.88%
Recommendation BUY
Confidence Level 70%

A 70% confidence reading signals solid support. Alphabet trades at 17 times trailing earnings and 22 times forward earnings. Google Cloud is growing at 82%.

Cloud Growth Hit 82%, but the Stock Still Sits Below Its May Peak

GOOG is up 1.47% over the past week, 2.63% over the past month, 9.88% year to date and 40% over the past year. At $344.13, shares sit 14.8% below the 52-week peak of $403.96, up 45.8% from the low of $236.07.

Second-quarter revenue rose 24.23% to $119.80 billion, ahead of the $116.91 billion consensus. EPS came in at $9.11 against a $3.04 estimate. That figure was inflated by a $99.03 billion unrealized gain on equity securities. Even so, shares fell 6.89% on earnings day after the company raised its 2026 capex forecast to fund AI data centers, which made investors nervous (per Motley Fool reporting).

Why Bulls See $453 and Beyond

Google Cloud’s backlog reached $514 billion, and management expects just over 50% of it to turn into revenue within 24 months. Cloud operating margin expanded from 20.7% to 35.6% over the past year.

Consumer AI adoption is strong too: the Gemini app has 950 million monthly users, and AI Mode has passed 1 billion. Most revenue from TPU system sales is expected in 2027.

Analysts count 13 Strong Buy, 42 Buy and zero Sell ratings (the same AI expansion boost runs through the seven infrastructure suppliers we covered, here). The bull case comes at $453.11.

Capex and Debt Are the Risks Worth Watching

Free cash flow was negative $5.86 billion last quarter as capex doubled to $44.92 billion. Long-term debt rose from $46.5 billion to $98.2 billion, and the buyback is suspended.

Operating income grew 30.38%, trailing operating cash flow reached $185.7 billion, and interest coverage stands at 175.5x. Even the downside case of $368.89 still points to 7.37% upside.

Alphabet Trades Cheaper Than Microsoft and Meta

Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) trades at 29 times trailing earnings with 17.7% revenue growth. Alphabet’s growth is faster at a lower multiple.

Meta Platforms (NASDAQ:META) revenue grew 28%, but quarterly earnings fell 13.4%.

Company Forward P/E Trailing P/E Revenue Growth (YoY)
Alphabet 22 17 24.2%
Microsoft 25 29 17.7%
Meta 22 28 28%

Our target indicating a P/E of 17, which is still below both peers’ trailing multiples. Against this group, the target looks conservative.

Cloud Momentum Supports a BUY Rating

The 24/7 Wall St. price target is $435.93, rated buy with 70% confidence. A growing cloud backlog combined with a multiple below peers supports the call. Free cash flow turning positive as TPU revenue ramps in 2027 would strengthen the case.
