Palantir has already rewarded patient holders, with shares rising 746% over five years.

Today the company is worth roughly $472.2 billion, so the next leg of wealth creation depends on earnings growing fast enough to justify a premium multiple (we studied what the biggest tech winners looked like early on and turned the pattern into a free playbook here). Our model sees steady gains ahead, while the business itself keeps beating expectations.

Palantir Climbs Toward Its 52-Week High After a Strong Quarter

Shares gained 7.25% over the past week, 23.18% over the past month, and 15.89% year to date. The stock sits about 2% below its $212.94 52-week high and roughly 96% above its $106.37 low.

The catalyst was the second-quarter report. EPS of $0.41 beat the $0.28 estimate, and revenue rose 92.83% to $1.935 billion. U.S. commercial revenue grew 149%, and management raised full-year revenue guidance to $8.150 to $8.158 billion. CEO Alex Karp called the quarter “otherworldly.”

Why Bulls See $231 and Beyond

The growth engine is accelerating. Net dollar retention reached 157%, total remaining deal value rose to $13.1 billion, and Palantir closed 73 deals worth $10 million or more. Karp set an aggressive goal: “I am driving the business to grow at a rate equal to or above what we have in U.S. commercial for the next 18 months.”

Of the analysts covering the stock, 20 rate it a Buy or Strong Buy, against a consensus target of $205.27. The bull case reaches $231.73 in one year and $289.47 within five years.

Valuation Leaves Little Room for a Stumble

Palantir trades at 180x trailing earnings and 81x sales. Stock-based compensation reached $265 million last quarter, and U.S. customers generated over 81% of revenue. Two analysts rate the shares a Sell or Strong Sell. Our bear case points to $183.63.

On dilution, quarterly GAAP net income of $1.062 billion covers stock compensation many times over. Palantir also holds $9.2 billion in cash and Treasuries and expects adjusted free cash flow of $4.5 to $4.7 billion this year.

PLTR price scenario

Palantir Outgrows Snowflake and Salesforce by a Wide Margin

Snowflake (NYSE:SNOW) competes for the same enterprise data and AI budgets. Its forward multiple of 169x is roughly double Palantir’s, even though its revenue grows far more slowly.

Salesforce (NYSE:CRM) offers the value contrast. It sells AI agents to the same corporate buyers at just 14x forward earnings, with low double-digit growth.

Company Forward P/E Quarterly Revenue Growth (YoY)
Palantir 85 92.8%
Snowflake 169 35.1%
Salesforce 14 10.8%

Palantir’s valuation looks more justified relative to its growth than Snowflake’s, which makes the 24/7 Wall St. price target look reasonable, perhaps even conservative.

Palantir Earns a BUY, With Measured Expectations

The 24/7 Wall St. price target of $221.30 carries a buy rating and 90% confidence. Speeding up U.S. commercial demand is what tips the scale.

I’d stay positive if U.S. commercial growth keeps pace with guidance of at least 134%. I’d grow cautious if growth slows while the multiple stays near current levels. Palantir can still create shareholder value, but probably at a slower pace than the past five years delivered.

Palantir Price Prediction 2026-2030

Looking further ahead, here is where our model projects Palantir could trade if current growth trends continue.

Year Price Target from 24/7 Wall St.
2026 $221.30
2027 $233.13
2028 $245.58
2029 $258.71
2030 $272.53

These projections assume Palantir keeps executing on its AI sovereignty strategy. Sustained U.S. commercial growth could push results well above them, while multiple compression or lost government contracts could pull them lower.
