What Will 10,000 Stellar (XLM) Be Worth by 2030?
Stellar just landed MetaMask integration, a $1.65 billion tokenized fund, and a Curve exchange launch, yet XLM still cratered 23% in a month. Whether those catalysts eventually move the needle on a 10,000-token stack depends on a few critical conditions.

A stack of 10,000 XLM, the native token of the Stellar (CRYPTO: XLM) network, is worth about $1,680. This is down from around $2,200 a month ago. Currently, XLM is trading at $0.17, down 23.5% over the past month and 44.3% over the last year. This positions the token about 81% below its all-time high of $0.88 reached in January 2018.
Stellar is a blockchain network designed to process payments, enabling inexpensive transfers of stablecoins, remittances, and tokenized assets, with XLM covering network fees. Many investors are eager to see Stellar reach $1, so let’s explore how much a stack of 10,000 XLM could be worth by 2030.
What 10,000 XLM Could Be Worth at $0.25, $0.50, and $1

A coin’s market cap is determined by multiplying its price by the total number of coins in circulation. Currently, approximately 35.25 billion XLM are in circulation, giving Stellar a market cap of around $5.9 billion and placing it 19th among all cryptocurrencies.
| XLM Price | 10,000 XLM Worth | Gain From Current Price | Stellar Market Value |
|---|---|---|---|
| $0.25 | $2,500 | 1.5x | $8.8 billion |
| $0.50 | $5,000 | 3x | $17.6 billion |
| $0.79 | $7,900 | 4.7x | $27.9 billion |
| $1 | $10,000 | 5.9x | $35.3 billion |
The $0.79 price point is nearly 10% below XLM’s previous peak. Each price increase suggests Stellar would surpass larger competitors. At $0.25, Stellar would outpace Cardano (CRYPTO: ADA) with a market cap of $7.2 billion. At $0.50, it would surpass Dogecoin (CRYPTO: DOGE) valued at $11.8 billion, and reaching $1 would mean it outstrips TRON (CRYPTO: TRX) at $29.8 billion.
Stellar’s Growing Supply Makes Old Peaks Harder to Reach

Growth in XLM’s supply makes it harder for the token to regain its past highs. When XLM hit its record of about $0.88 in January 2018, the entire network was valued at roughly $15.7 billion. Today, with more tokens in circulation, reaching $0.79 would require a market cap of $27.9 billion.
A similar situation occurred during the 2021 peak—XLM closed around $0.56 on February 13, 2021, with a network value of about $12.6 billion. Now, at $0.50, it would need a valuation of $17.6 billion.
Looking at XLM’s yearly closing prices, we can see how far it has fallen from those peaks: it ended 2018 near $0.11, 2019 at about $0.045, 2020 at $0.13, and 2025 at around $0.20. For context, XRP (CRYPTO: XRP), another payments network, is currently trading about 66% below its all-time high, suggesting XLM still has a longer path ahead than its closest competitor.
MetaMask, SAFO and Curve Have Yet to Lift XLM’s Price

MetaMask Adds Stellar as a Default Network
On October 29, MetaMask, a popular self-custody wallet developed by Consensys, designated Stellar as a default network. This means that eligible accounts automatically come with a Stellar address. However, Consensys has not yet shared user statistics, and each address must maintain a minimum XLM balance to become active. Therefore, the number of funded accounts could largely dictate demand for the token.
SAFO Puts $1.65 Billion of a Tokenized Fund on Stellar
SAFO, a tokenized cash fund Spiko launched with Amundi in March, held $2.38 billion as of October 23, and $1.65 billion of those assets were recorded on Stellar, with Spiko stating the assets have been growing about 30% monthly. However, since the fund’s shares are represented as separate tokens, each transfer incurs only a small, flat fee in XLM, providing limited direct benefits to XLM holders.
Curve Launches on Stellar’s Mainnet
On October 29, Curve, a decentralized exchange focused on trading stablecoins, launched on Stellar’s mainnet, marking its first deployment outside of Ethereum-style networks. Initially, StableSwap pools have become operational, with FXSwap pools to follow after a security audit. If FXSwap pools link XLM with high trading activity, it could create demand for the token.
Despite these announcements, XLM still dropped 23.5% over the past month. This suggests that partnership news alone wasn’t enough to lift the price.
What Could 10,000 XLM Be Worth by 2030?
By 2030, XLM could potentially reach $0.25, and a robust market cycle might push it to $0.50. However, hitting $0.79 or $1 appears less likely at this stage. The token recently closed near $0.26 on May 31, so a return to that level could turn a $1,680 stack into $2,500.
For XLM to target $0.50, it needs to stay above its 50-day average of $0.19 and break through $0.26, its best close this year. Additionally, Consensys needs to report funded accounts, and FXSwap should generate substantial trading volume. If FXSwap launches and XLM continues to close below $0.19 for an extended period, it suggests the recent partnerships may benefit Stellar’s partners more than XLM holders, keeping 10,000 XLM closer to $1,680 than the $5,000 it would be worth at $0.50. Reaching $1 would require a valuation of $35.3 billion, surpassing TRON’s, which might only be feasible if wallets and funds start holding large amounts of XLM.
