Based on data from fifteen Apple stores, 66% said Mac sales had dropped between January and February. The most popular model in the recent survey was the MacBook Pro according to 73% of respondents. The G5 and iMac were also mentioned as selling well.
The data showed that there has been some discounting of iPods. Twenty-seven percent of the locations in the survey said they were offering special pricing with the Nano being the product discounted most often. Thirteen percent of the locations said they were discounting Macs.
