These Are the Most Popular Boy and Girl Names in Wisconsin in 2020

The most popular boy’s name in Wisconsin in 2020 was Oliver. Oliver, the female version of Olivia, may also come from Olivier, which is a Norman French version of the Germanic name Alfher or Aleifr.
As many as 23,681 boys were born in Wisconsin last year. Of them, 326, or 1.38%, were given the name Oliver.
The second and third most popular boy names in the state in 2020 were Liam and Henry, respectively. About 1.27% of boys born in the state, or 301 baby boys, were named Liam. About 1.21%, or 286 newborn boys, were named Henry.
The most popular girl’s name in Wisconsin in 2020 was Charlotte. The name is French in origin, often the feminine diminutive for Charles.
As many as 20,596 girls were born in Wisconsin last year. Of them, 284 baby girls, or 1.38%, were given the name Charlotte.
The second and third most popular girl names in the state in 2020 were Olivia and Evelyn, respectively. About 1.27% of girls born in Wisconsin, or 262 baby girls, were named Olivia. About 1.19%, or 246 newborn girls, were named Evelyn.
