The session's standout gainer was Iren (IREN), which jumped 12.5% to close at $43.67, followed closely by electric-vehicle maker Lucid (LCID), up 11.2% to $6.76. Insurtech name Lemonade (LMND) was not far behind, adding 10.41% to reach $78.97, while semiconductor connectivity firm Astera Labs (ALAB) gained 8.35% to $440.36 and AI voice platform SoundHound (SOUN) rose 8.09% to $7.08.
On the losing side, Digital Turbine (APPS) was the hardest hit among the decliners, dropping 8.3% to $11.66. AMC Entertainment slid 7.14% to $1.76 and Mediterranean fast-casual chain Cava fell 6.54% to $71.85, with coffee chain Dutch Bros also giving ground, off 4.44% to $68.96. The contrast between the day's winners and losers underscored a rotation away from consumer-facing retail and entertainment names toward technology and energy-adjacent plays.
