Lucid rocketed 20.5% at the close on fresh capital momentum, while semiconductor stocks stumbled with SanDisk and Navitas both down over 11%.

Lucid Group was the session's standout mover, closing up 20.54% at $7.84 on what the market characterized as fresh capital momentum. The electric-vehicle maker's outsized gain towered over every other notable gainer on the day, including AMC Entertainment, which added 9.36% to close at $2.75, and Workday, which rose 7.14% to $158.07.
The semiconductor and tech-hardware space had a rough close. SanDisk led the declines, falling 12.11% to $1,123.42, while Navitas Semiconductor shed 11.28% to $10.12. Coherent dropped 9.66% to $245.09, and Dell Technologies slid 7.83% to $393.49, rounding out a broad pullback across hardware-linked names.
