Investors are watching Oracle (NYSE: ORCL | ORCL Price Prediction) ahead of its fiscal fourth-quarter results due today, June 10, around 4:05 PM ET. Shares fell 15.85% over the past week ahead of the earnings report, so this report could reset the heated AI infrastructure narrative.
Cloud Acceleration Meets a Capex Reality Check
Last quarter delivered the loudest signal in years. Oracle posted 20%+ organic revenue and non-GAAP EPS growth, the first such quarter in over 15 years. Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) revenue jumped 84% to $4.89B, and Remaining Performance Obligations exploded to $553B, up 325% YoY.
Management raised its FY2027 revenue target to $90B and held its FY2026 at $67B. Despite this positive growth trajectory, trailing capex hit $48.25B, free cash flow swung to -$24.74B, and non-current debt climbed to $124.7B. Oracle has already raised $30 billion of a planned $50 billion financing package.

RPO, Cloud Margins, and the FY27 Bridge
Tonight, I’ll be watching three things with Oracle’s Q4 earnings. First, remaining performance obligations (RPO) or backlog. Polymarket traders put 97.3% odds on RPO clearing $500B again and 52.5% odds it tops $600B. If the backlog crosses that line, the $90B FY27 framework gains real credibility.
Second, cloud growth. Management guided cloud revenue up 46% to 50%. The same prediction market gives just 52.5% odds that cloud revenue will top $10.25B. Anything below that range is likely going to sting.
Third, the capex story. CFO Doug Caring told analysts the company is “uncoupling CapEx with capital requirements from Oracle Corporation” through bring-your-own-hardware deals and customer prepayments. Oracle has already signed more than $29 billion in contracts under that model. Investors will also look for hard numbers on funded capacity, AI infrastructure gross margin (32% last quarter), and any signal on FY27 capex.
It’s also worth tracking if management reports a first-time earnings contribution from Oracle’s 15% TikTok stake.
