The Next Phase of Webull Could Be the One That Matters Most

Webull just posted a record trading quarter, eliminated a regulatory headwind it called its defining moment, and closed a major international acquisition, yet the stock is down 34% over the past year. Whether the next phase of its story corrects…

Webull (NASDAQ:BULL | BULL Price Prediction) is fresh off the SEC’s elimination of the Pattern Day Trader rule, a record trading quarter, and a Thailand acquisition that opens its next international runway.

My 24/7 Wall St. price target for Webull is $7.77, sitting slightly below the current price of $8.66. That implies downside of 10.25%, and my recommendation is hold at high confidence of 90%. The next phase, meaning international scale, institutional traction, and AI monetization, is what will decide whether that number moves up.

Why We Could Be Wrong

Our 24/7 Wall St. price target of $7.77 sits under where BULL trades today, and Webull has real bull arguments worth respecting.

The PDT rule elimination on June 4, 2026 is still working through customer behavior, and the Pi Securities deal in Thailand only closed on August 31, 2026. Analyst sentiment is 100% bullish. Treat the target as one datapoint. A detailed bull case follows.

Record Quarter Meets a Slipping Stock

BULL is down 9.51% over the past week and 34.14% over the past year, but up 11.45% year to date.

Q3 2026 revenue reached $198.83 million, up 26.7% year over year but missing consensus by 8.97%, and GAAP diluted EPS of $0.04 fell short of the $0.065 estimate. The Q2 quarter was stronger, with DARTs of 1.6 million (+62% YoY) and customer assets of $28.5 billion (+79%). On September 14, 2026, Webull expanded its futures lineup with CME Nano contracts.

An infographic titled '12-Month Price Prediction: Webull (BULL)' by 24/7 Wall St. It displays a 'HOLD' recommendation with 90% High Confidence. The Current Price is $8.66, and the Price Target is $7.77, indicating a -10.25% Downside. The 'How We Got There (Methodology)' section includes a bar chart showing a base price of $8.66, an addition of $1.24, an addition of $13, leading to a Final Weighted Price of $6.25. The 'Our Adjustments (Proprietary Section)' features a bar chart starting from a base of $8.66, showing adjustments of +1.15x, -0.995, and +1.243, resulting in a Final Target of $7.77. The 'Bull Case: What Could Go Right' lists sustainable post-PDT rule volume momentum, AI and international growth including Vega AI and a Thailand acquisition, and 100% Bullish Analyst Sentiment, with a Bull Case Target of $17.64. The 'Bear Case: What Could Go Wrong' lists a Q3 Revenue Miss of -8.97% Surprise, High Tax Rate & Cash Burn at 88.09% rate and -$250.9M OCF, and Execution Risks related to international integration and competition, with a Bear Case Target of $6.65. The 'The Bottom Line' reiterates a HOLD recommendation with a $7.77 Target (-10.25%) and states that the next phase of international scale, AI monetization, and post-PDT volume sustainability will determine future direction.

Why Bulls See a Breakout Ahead

CEO Anthony Denier called the PDT rule change “our defining event for the quarter” and said “removal of PDT is the standard going forward.” Q2 adjusted operating profit jumped 169% to $62.6 million.

Vega AI has 480,000 active users, international funded accounts hit 810,000, and the $100 million Pi Securities deal targets THB 200 billion in AUM. Three analysts rate BULL a Buy with a $13 target, aligned with the bull scenario of $17.64.

What Could Go Wrong

The Q3 revenue miss and EPS surprise of -38.46% matter. So does an 88.09% effective tax rate, negative operating cash flow of $250.9 million in H1 2026, revenue concentration with two counterparties at 19% and 11%, and $50 million of promissory notes due April 2027.

Loss of EGC status on December 31, 2026 brings Section 404(b) audit costs. Bulls would counter that the cash flow drag reflects a margin loan growth engine, and the tax rate reflects a jurisdiction-mix issue. Bear-case target: $6.65.

How Webull Compares to Robinhood, Interactive Brokers, and Schwab

Robinhood (NASDAQ:HOOD) is the closest retail comp. HOOD posted Q2 2026 revenue of $1.31 billion (+32% YoY) and EPS of $0.62, beating by 43.72%, with market cap around $87.3 billion. That scale makes Webull’s $3.95 billion market cap look small but also leaves more room to grow into monetization per user.

Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ:IBKR) is the active-trader benchmark, with Q2 2026 revenue of $1.896 billion, 5.19 million customer accounts, and market cap near $40.2 billion. IBKR trades at a premium given superior margins; Webull’s forward P/E of 173 looks aggressive against IBKR’s track record of consistent EPS beats.

Charles Schwab (NYSE:SCHW) anchors the scale case with $13.08 trillion in client assets and Q2 EPS of $1.62. Against this peer group, my $7.77 target looks reasonable.

Webull Price Prediction 2026-2030

My 24/7 Wall St. price target stays at $7.77 with a hold rating and 90% confidence. The scale tips on execution: post-PDT trading volumes must stay sticky and Q4 earnings need to reverse the Q3 miss.

I would become a buyer if Q4 revenue reaccelerates above 40% YoY and the effective tax rate normalizes. I would stay sidelined if trading volumes fade or if international integration costs pressure margins.

Year 24/7 Wall St. Price Target
2026 $8.43
2027 $7.76
2028 $7.41
2029 $7.34
2030 $7.48

These projections assume Webull continues executing its current international and AI roadmap. Meaningful upside or downside could come from post-PDT volume durability, agentic-AI monetization through Vega, or regulatory shifts in APAC.
