XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) fell 3.1% over the past week while Bitcoin gained 4.3%, Ethereum 4.6%, and Solana 6.2%, making it the only major coin to lose ground.
That is the backdrop for CryptoBull’s latest call. The analyst, who has close to 1 million followers on X, asked them on August 6 how XRP at $27 would sound by the end of October. XRP trades at $1.03 today, so that is a 26-fold move in about twelve weeks.
So is there anything in his chart worth taking seriously?
Why Analyst Crypto Bull Says XRP Will Hit $27 By October

CryptoBull’s analysis rests on a channel he has drawn on XRP’s weekly chart going back to 2024. A channel is two parallel lines with the price bouncing between them, and his has a third running through the middle. XRP is trading on the lower line right now, which he reads as the floor of the channel and the point where the next leg up begins.
His chart marks the middle line at $7 and the upper line at $27, so he expects the XRP price to climb to the middle first and then run to the top, with the move starting around September. That timing comes from the Stochastic RSI at the bottom of the same chart, which tracks whether sellers are running out of steam, and it has turned up from the low 40s.
XRP has only touched that lower band three times in its history, and the first two both came before big runs. The XRP price fell to $0.0050 in February 2017 and climbed to $3.31 within about a year, a gain of more than 66,000%. It touched the band again in November 2024, when XRP dropped toward $0.50 and then reached $3.40 by January 2025, gaining 580% in roughly three months.
Why the October Timeline Is the Problem

The XRP price has been falling while the rest of the market has held up. The coin has remained below $1.10 since slipping under that level on July 27.
For XRP to rally to a price as high as $27, it would need heavy and sustained buying, and the only place that money comes from is the ETFs. However, XRP ETF inflows have shrunk every month since May, falling from $131.94 million to $27.29 million in July, and only about $1 million has arrived so far in August. So there is nothing funding a potential rally to $27.
Moreover, traders don’t seem to be pricing in any big moves. On Robinhood’s prediction markets, the contract for XRP falling below $1 at some point in 2026 trades at 75%, and the contract for XRP dropping under $0.80 is at 37%.
On top of that, CryptoBull’s forecasts keep changing. He told followers on April 13 to ignore analysts calling for $0.73 because “$28 is next,” then posted a chart marked $23 on August 4, and the $27 target two days after that.
The only catalyst that could spark a rally that big this year is the crypto market structure bill, and the Senate does not vote on it until September 15.
What XRP Needs to Hit $27, and When That’s Possible

The XRP price would need to rise about 31% a week, every week, for twelve straight weeks to reach $27 by the end of October. Its strongest three-month run in recent years came between November 2024 and January 2025, when XRP gained 580%, which works out at roughly 17% a week.
So CryptoBull is asking for a lot. If we run that 2024 pace forward from today, twelve weeks would take XRP to $7, which is exactly the middle line on his own chart, so XRP’s recent history supports the middle of his channel rather than the top of it.
XRP is also worth $64.4 billion today, so reaching $27 would give it a market cap of $1.69 trillion, which is 30% more than Bitcoin is worth right now. That means roughly $1.6 trillion would have to flow into XRP in twelve weeks, against the $1 million that has turned up in August.
Even if the Senate passes the crypto market structure bill on September 15, institutional money takes months to rebuild after a year of outflows. That pushes any serious XRP rally into 2027 at the earliest, which makes $7 the number worth watching rather than $27.
Will XRP Hit $27 by October 2026?
XRP will not reach $27 by the end of October, and the size of the target is not the problem. The channel CryptoBull is reading has a genuine record behind it, but there is no catalyst to spark a move that big, and twelve weeks is not enough time to trigger a rally of that size.
The $7 middle line on his own chart is the part worth taking seriously. XRP has made moves that size before, but it would need the CLARITY Act to pass and ETF inflows to pour in the way they did when the funds first launched, and that is something that could happen by 2027 rather than this year.
