For XRP (CRYPTO: XRP) to reach $25 by 2030, it needs to rise about 16 times from $1.50 as of September 30, 2026. This translates to an impressive increase of roughly 1,570%. Notably, this target is nearly seven times higher than XRP’s all-time high of $3.65, set in July 2025—a peak that the coin has yet to reclaim.
The $25 target is often discussed among XRP holders because it’s an appealing figure and reflects XRP’s historical volatility, with a recent 46% gain over the last 90 days. But can XRP really reach $25 by 2030? Let’s explore the factors that could make this possible.
At $25, XRP Could Be Worth Nearly as Much as Bitcoin

Currently, XRP’s market cap is around $95 billion, accounting for about 3.3% of the total $2.86 trillion cryptocurrency market. If XRP reached $25 at its current supply, its market value would rise to about $1.58 trillion—nearly on par with Bitcoin’s (CRYPTO: BTC) current valuation of $1.67 trillion.
To achieve this, funds can come from two main sources: either the entire cryptocurrency market must grow significantly, or XRP needs to capture a larger share of the market from Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies. However, each option alone is insufficient.
If XRP maintains its current 3.3% market share, the overall crypto market would need to expand to about $48 trillion—roughly 17 times its present size. Alternatively, if the market remains at its current level, XRP would need to capture over half of the total market’s value. Thus, reaching $25 requires both a much larger market and a greater market share for XRP.
XRP’s Growing Supply Raises the Bar

About 63 billion XRP tokens are currently in circulation, out of a maximum supply of 100 billion. Ripple, the company behind XRP, controls a significant portion of the remaining supply and releases it gradually each month. This continued increase in tokens available on the market could hinder any long-term price targets.
At $25, if all 100 billion XRP were in circulation, the total market cap would skyrocket to about $2.5 trillion, nearing the current value of the entire cryptocurrency market. This means every additional token released increases the amount of money buyers would need to sustain that price.
Market demand for XRP ETFs has fluctuated, with fund flows stagnating in September before recovering.
XRP’s 46% Rally Is a Recovery, Not a Breakout

While XRP’s 90-day gain of 46% looks strong, the coin is still down about 18% for 2026 and 47% over the last year. This means that investors who bought near the all-time high in 2025 are still facing significant losses.
Although this recent rally has helped regain some lost value, it hasn’t pushed XRP into new price territory. Currently, XRP is trading about 59% below its $3.65 record, requiring a 143% increase to reach that level again. The $25 target remains far beyond even the peak level.
Could XRP Reach $25 by 2030?
The likelihood of XRP hitting $25 by 2030 is low. Achieving this ambitious goal requires a series of crucial steps. First, XRP must surpass its previous all-time high of $3.65, which is about 143% higher than its current price, and maintain that level despite the influx of new tokens. Additionally, the overall crypto market would need significant growth, along with a rise in XRP’s market share—all within about four years.
For now, overcoming the $3.65 milestone is investors’ primary goal. If XRP breaks through that barrier and begins to capture a larger share of the market, discussions around $25 could gain momentum. However, if the crypto market stagnates or if XRP’s market position weakens, the $25 goal may remain out of reach for the rest of the decade, making a return to its prior record a more realistic objective.
