This Crypto Has the Easiest Path to 10X by 2030
Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, and Solana all need a 10X by 2030 to satisfy their loudest fans, but the math behind each target reveals one coin faces a dramatically shorter climb than the others.

Four coins dominate the debate over where crypto goes next, and each starts from a very different place. Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) trades at $81,100 and carries a market cap of $1.63 trillion. Ethereum (CRYPTO:ETH) sits at $2,368.23, worth $289 billion. XRP (CRYPTO:XRP) trades at $1.31, worth $82.7 billion. Solana (CRYPTO:SOL) changes hands at $102.98, worth $60.7 billion.
All four have rebounded hard. Over the past 60 days, Solana gained 40.02%, XRP 34.16%, Bitcoin 29.89% and Ethereum 29.44%. Each one is still lower than it was a year ago.
That rebound has brought back a familiar round number: a tenfold gain by 2030. Treat it as a threshold test. What would a 10X actually require of each coin?
Why Market Cap Decides How Hard a 10X Really Is
Price per coin tells you almost nothing on its own. Market cap is the price of one coin multiplied by the number of coins in circulation, and circulating supply means the coins that actually trade today. XRP looks cheap next to Bitcoin, but XRP has 63.1 billion coins circulating against Bitcoin’s 20,098,593.
Your starting market cap sets how much new money a tenfold gain needs. A small network needs hundreds of billions of fresh dollars. A large one needs trillions.
Ordering the Tenfold Targets From Smallest to Largest
| Coin | Market Cap Today | 10X Price | 10X Market Cap |
|---|---|---|---|
| Solana | $60.7 billion | $1,029.80 | $607 billion |
| XRP | $82.7 billion | $13.10 | $827 billion |
| Ethereum | $289 billion | $23,682 | $2.89 trillion |
| Bitcoin | $1.63 trillion | $811,000 | $16.29 trillion |
To put Bitcoin’s target in perspective, the entire U.S. M2 money supply, a broad measure that includes cash, checking and savings deposits, and money market funds, was at $23.34 trillion as of August 2026. A 10X Bitcoin would be worth a large share of every dollar Americans hold in liquid form.
Supply Dilution Makes the Small Targets Harder Than They Look
Dilution means new coins enter circulation over time, which spreads the same market cap across more units. Solana pays staking rewards, which are new tokens given to holders who lock up coins to help secure the network. Solana has 589.3 million tokens circulating and a total supply of 635.8 million. As that gap closes and issuance continues, a $607 billion market cap could mean at a per-coin price below $1,029.80.
XRP faces a similar drag. Ripple holds XRP in escrow, a locked account that releases coins on a set schedule. Circulating supply is 63.1 billion against a maximum of 100 billion.
Bitcoin has a hard cap of 21 million coins, and 20,098,593 already circulate. Ethereum uses a fee burn, meaning part of every transaction fee is destroyed for good, which offsets the new coins the network issues. Both larger coins have less dilution to work against, but they also start from much bigger market caps.
Buyer Depth Is the Counterweight to the Easy Math
The coin with the smallest target also has the smallest pool of big buyers. As of October 14, U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs held about $104.83 billion in net assets, with cumulative net inflows of about $56.96 billion. Ethereum ETFs held about $15.20 billion. Solana ETFs held about $1.66 billion, with cumulative inflows of about $1.58 billion, behind XRP’s roughly $1.80 billion. Solana funds also saw outflows in every session from October 5 through October 9 and again from October 12 through October 14.
A drawdown is how far a price has dropped from its all-time high. Bitcoin is down 35.68% from its $126,080 peak. Ethereum is down 52.12%, XRP 64.06% and Solana 64.89%. Solana has the deepest hole of the four, so a large part of any 10X would simply be winning back lost ground.
Which Crypto Has the Easiest Path to 10X by 2030?
Solana. It has the smallest target, $607 billion, and the most room to recover. Even so, our view is that a tenfold gain by 2030 is unlikely for any of the four. Solana simply faces the shortest rise.
Here is what would have to happen, in order:
- Solana ETF flows turn positive again and cumulative inflows pass XRP’s roughly $1.80 billion.
- Solana’s market cap goes above XRP’s current $82.7 billion. Until that happens, a 10X shouldn’t be part of the discussion.
- Solana grows past Ethereum’s current $289 billion, despite new staking rewards adding to supply the whole way.
If ETF outflows continue and Solana stays below XRP in market cap, its small size stops being an advantage and becomes a sign of weak demand. Here’s the test to track: Solana’s market cap rising above XRP’s and staying there. That flip would be the first real evidence the easiest path is actually opening up.
