Best TV Shows You Can Now Stream This Week

Using streaming services to watch TV is becoming increasingly popular in the U.S. with more than one in four adults using streaming as their primary method of watching TV. According to one recent study, the average American has been streaming eight hours of content each day since the beginning of the coronavirus pandemic.

This same survey, conducted by research company OnePoll on behalf of Tubi, revealed that 56% of Americans were likely to re-watch a show rather than begin something new.

One reason for this may be that viewers feel that they’ve exhausted their viewing options after so many weeks spent watching television at home. Fortunately, streaming platforms are releasing new, as well as previously unavailable older content, every week to answer the high demand, although much of it is undoubtedly released with many subscribers being unaware.

To help viewers navigate the many new options available, 24/7 Tempo has identified the 25 best TV shows to stream this week. Each of these series — in some cases lone seasons — is new to the most popular streaming platforms as of the past two weeks and is highly ranked based on audience ratings from the Internet Movie Database (IMDb).

Many of the best shows to stream this week are brand new releases from companies such as Netflix and Hulu. In addition, older, more well-known series such as “Friends” and “The Simpsons,” which will surely interest many, are now also available to stream.

For those with less time on their hands for binge-watching series, here are the best movies you can stream at home this week.
