The Global Medical Products and Distribution (GMPD) segment manufactures and distributes medical, surgical, and laboratory products globally under the Cardinal Health brand and other labels. The company also operates three additional segments grouped as 'Other': Nuclear and Precision Health Solutions (operating nuclear pharmacies and manufacturing nuclear imaging agents), at-Home Solutions (providing home healthcare products and services directly to patients), and OptiFreight Logistics (offering freight management services to healthcare systems). Cardinal Health has been actively expanding through physician practice acquisitions including Integrated Oncology Network, GI Alliance, Urology America, Solaris Health, and Advanced Diabetes Supply Group, and has recently acquired Strive Medical and announced acquisition of AdaptHealth's Diabetes Health business.
