Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/28/26

  • Cramer stays with Intel and Meta, calling Meta's Muse agentic platform a CPU-driven demand cycle for Intel, AMD and Arm
  • Intel fell 7 points; he frames the pullback after a parabolic run as another entry chance
  • Nvidia's $150 billion buyback, the largest ever, plus its plan to rein in autonomous AI agents
  • Chevron called the king of oil; Enbridge flagged for its 6% yield, with Microsoft's Copilot and Apple also named

With breadth the narrowest since the dot-com unwind, Cramer's answer is to concentrate: energy for pricing power, CPU names for a product cycle that higher rates cannot dent. Owners of Intel get told the 7-point drop is an invitation, and Nvidia holders get the biggest buyback ever as the floor under the stock.

A single $44 million bet on Micron calls expiring October 2 is the tell: someone is positioning for a violent upside move in memory and semis within two weeks.

"Someone" just bought a boatload of short data (October2) calls Intel 115 $3.8 m; Marvell 250sm $3.8 million; Sandisk 1600s $41 million, Micron $1000s $44 million. If i didn't know any better I would say Leopold is back!!!

Cramer is framing Intel's foundry as a national security asset, and points to demand for the recent secondary offering as evidence investors are finally crediting Lip-Bu Tan's turnaround.

Intel is now at last reacting to the work of Lip-Bu Tan post the destruction of its stock at the hands of Situational Unawareness. The stock lapped up the secondary. I think the foundry is key to American security

96% of NVIDIA's disclosed equity book sits in five names, with a rival chipmaker as the single largest holding as of June 30. Only eight positions total, so every stake here is a deliberate strategic bet.

Cramer is reading Intel CEO Lip-Bu Tan's purchase on the secondary offering as a buy signal, at a moment when the U.S. government sits as the chipmaker's largest shareholder.

Down 4.06% to $97.52 before the bell, roughly $20 billion shaved off a $492 billion market cap. Moves that size on a mega-cap rarely stay contained to pre-market; the open sets the tone.
