Chevron Corp is a global energy leader with a rich history dating back to 1879. Based in San Ramon, California, it operates across two main segments: Upstream and Downstream. In Upstream, Chevron focuses on the exploration, development, and production of crude oil and natural gas, including liquefied natural gas operations and carbon capture. The Downstream segment involves refining crude oil into petroleum products, marketing these products alongside renewable fuels and petrochemicals, and transporting oil and refined products. Chevron is committed to energy development that meets today's needs without compromising future generations.
