About Google

Alphabet Inc. is the parent company of Google and several other businesses. Its core segment, Google Services, encompasses the world's dominant search engine (Google Search), the largest online video platform (YouTube), the Android mobile operating system, the Chrome web browser, Google Maps, Google Play app marketplace, and a portfolio of hardware devices and consumer subscription products including YouTube TV, YouTube Music and Premium, Google One, and NFL Sunday Ticket. Google Services generates revenue primarily through digital advertising across Search, YouTube, and its advertising network, as well as through subscriptions and device sales. Google Cloud provides enterprise cloud infrastructure and platform services (Google Cloud Platform), productivity and collaboration tools (Google Workspace), enterprise AI solutions and AI infrastructure including TPU systems. The Other Bets segment includes earlier-stage ventures such as Waymo (autonomous transportation) and internet services. Alphabet is currently executing a massive AI infrastructure buildout, having raised approximately $70 billion in equity and debt capital in Q2 2026 to fund compute expansion, and is deploying its Gemini family of AI models across its consumer and enterprise products at rapidly increasing scale. Google is the AI arms dealer

A lord of war ref on wsb is peak Shouldve made nicholas cage the buyer tho

The 607-upvote thesis: Alphabet wins the AI race either way by selling TPUs and cloud compute to the rivals burning VC money, so model benchmarks matter less than who pays the infrastructure bill. The trader is backing it with June 2027 calls struck at $300.

After-hours
$334.93
-3.79%open $348.11

A 3.8% slide takes roughly $160 billion off the company in a single session, a rare drawdown for a mega-cap that has mostly traded one way this year. Watch whether it holds the $348.11 open level next session.

Regular session
$334.89
-3.80%open $348.11

A 3.8% intraday slide to $334.89 is a rare single-session drop for a $4.2 trillion company, and moves of that size here ripple straight into index returns. No confirmed catalyst yet, which makes the next session's follow-through the thing to watch.

Anthropic Files for IPO

2 trillion valuation with 4b of revenue?

Anthropic's prospectus sets $4.59B in 2025 revenue against an $8.06B operating loss at a roughly $2 trillion valuation. The number traders shouldn't skip: $518B in cloud, compute and infrastructure obligations, which is the bull case for the picks-and-shovels names.

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/24/26

  • Cramer pushes back on index-fund supremacy, calling the absolutist version of it wrong
  • Still recommends 50% of savings in an S&P 500 fund as a hedge against your own mistakes
  • Argues the S&P holds far fewer than 500 good stocks, so you buy the bad with the good
  • Caller questions on portfolio structure for young investors, 529 plans, and retirement vs. mad money

Put half in an index fund as insurance, the other half in individual names you have actually done the homework on. Cramer's case is that an S&P 500 fund gives you 8% to 10% a year and mediocrity alongside the winners, which is why he says it will not make you rich on its own.

Mad Money w/ Jim Cramer 9/21/26

  • Retrospective on Tim Cook's Apple tenure, which ended September 1, 2026, built from a decade of Cramer interviews
  • Cramer's original thesis: Apple as the future health company and the future credit card company
  • Cook cited 11,000 ResearchKit signups in 24 hours for a Stanford cardiovascular study
  • Cramer framed Apple Pay as pushing retailers and card networks toward adoption

With Cook out of the CEO chair as of September 1, the case for Apple built on services, health data and payments now belongs to someone else to defend. Cramer's replay is a reminder that the growth story he backed for a decade rested on those businesses.

About as clear a risk-off tell as a House filing gives you: a sitting appropriator rotated out of megacap tech and a big bank in the same week. The filing shows trims of Alphabet, Apple and JPMorgan on Aug. 20, purchases of defensive names like McDonald's, PepsiCo and Novo Nordisk six days later, plus short duration high yield.

Alphabet lifted its quarterly payout 4.8% to $0.22, its second raise in the two years since it started paying at all. A company spending heavily on AI infrastructure is still committing more cash to shareholders.

Alphabet lifted its quarterly payout 4.8% a share, a raise that signals AI capex is not crowding out cash returns. Owners buying today lock in the base of a dividend still early in its growth curve.
