About Kodiak Gas Services
Kodiak Gas Services, Inc. (NYSE: KGS) is a contract compression, distributed power, and energy infrastructure services provider in the United States. The company operates through three segments: Compression Infrastructure, which provides natural gas compression services to oil and gas producers and midstream operators under long-term contracts; Power Infrastructure, which provides distributed and behind-the-meter power generation solutions targeting data center developers, energy microgrid applications, and other energy and digital infrastructure customers; and Other Services, which includes ancillary services supporting both the compression and power businesses. Following the April 2026 acquisition of Distributed Power Solutions (DPS), Kodiak expanded beyond its legacy compression platform to pursue the growing demand for scalable power solutions. The Compression Infrastructure fleet totals approximately 4.5 million horsepower across over 4,600 units, while the Power Infrastructure fleet comprises 405 megawatts across 149 units. The company has announced plans to develop more than two gigawatts of power generation capacity by the end of the decade, including a multi-year order for one gigawatt of gas turbines. Updated
