NVIDIA Sets Conference Call for Third-Quarter Financial Results
Nov. 17 is now the date the AI trade gets marked to market: results for the quarter ended Oct. 25 hit around 1:20 p.m. PT, with CFO Colette Kress's written commentary posted immediately after and the call at 2 p.m. PT. That written commentary lands before anyone can ask a question, so the first read on demand comes in writing ahead of the call.
Tesla cut AI spending and now oracle. NVDA about to dropppp
A hyperscaler voluntarily capping capex is the first real crack in the AI build-out narrative, and traders are already asking who loses the order. Oracle's pledge to limit new capital raises to $20 billion through FY30 only matters if the FY29 free cash flow target lands.
Nvidia cut its own best transcription error rate from 4.3% to 2.8% and now shares the top open-weight spot, a reminder that its moat is software as much as silicon.
Nemotron 3.5 Transcribe's 2.8% WER on the AA-WER Index ties it with Voxtral Small for #1 among open-weight models, ahead of Thinking Machines' Inkling at 3.5%. It improves on NVIDIA's previous most accurate model, Canary Qwen 2.5B, at 4.3%. https://t.co/Hb5R76kipp

Rising prices on last-generation Nvidia silicon are the cleanest tell that buyers are taking whatever compute they can get, which undercuts the AI digestion narrative.
Worried AI demand is slowing? Just check out this chart. 👀 @BrianSozzi says prices for $NVDA older chips are going up, and that’s just one of three reasons the AI trade is coming back. https://t.co/WbTZy0tspT

SPYheating up fast
Retail traders are piling into the broad index bet, with 454 comments on the S&P 500 tracker topping every single stock today. Chipmaker chatter stays bullish, while the mood on the software giant and the EV maker has turned bearish and the iPhone maker splits the room.

- Cramer rejects the AI all-clear despite Broadcom arranging $63 billion in financing for Anthropic compute
- Meta's $25 billion equity raise was five times oversubscribed, but the $60 billion at-the-market program worries him
- CoreWeave bonds reaching a 15% yield flagged as the sector's unresolved weak spot
- Caller questions on Micron volatility and Revolution Medicines' pancreatic cancer drug
The bull case for data centers today rested on financing rather than profits, and Cramer wants to hear a customer say the chips are minting money before calling it clear. He expects Meta's at-the-market selling to weigh on the stock as supply hits at the wrong moments, with borrowing costs into a Fed decision the swing factor for everything levered to the buildout.
NVIDIA and Oracle Expand NVIDIA Vera Rubin to Multi-Gigawatt Scale and Bring NVIDIA Vera CPU to Oracle Cloud Infrastructure
Vera Rubin NVL72 and Vera CPUs are now generally available on Oracle Cloud Infrastructure, moving the next GPU generation from roadmap to revenue with multi-gigawatt Supercluster expansion planned. OpenAI is already the proof point, having trained and served GPT-6 Astra on an OCI Supercluster of more than 100,000 Blackwell GPUs and now bringing Vera CPUs into production.

Microsoft is the loudest name on Reddit today with 363 comments, and the mood there is bearish heading into big-tech earnings season. Nvidia is the one heating up, while traders are souring on Reddit's own stock.
