Pi Network Price Prediction: Can PI Rally Into Its November Summit?
Pi Network's first Ecosystem Summit is drawing closer, and while the announcement already moved the price, supply pressures and a broader market slide are working against holders who need far more than a brief spike to recover their losses.
Pi Network (CRYPTO:PI) is gearing up for its first Ecosystem Summit from November 17 to 19, 2026, leaving many holders wondering whether the Pi Network price will rise as the event approaches. After the summit announcement, the price of PI rose 4%, confirming market excitement. However, that spike has not been sustained.
PI is trading at about $0.079, down 1.6% over the past 24 hours. While it has risen 1.4% over the last week, it has dropped 12.3% over the past month. Furthermore, PI remains 97.4% below its all-time high of $2.99 recorded on February 26, 2025, meaning those who bought at the peak are still significantly at a loss.
So, is a rally possible before the summit, and can any gains be maintained after the event concludes?
PI’s Increasing Supply Makes Reclaiming the $2.99 High Challenging

About 11.28 billion PI coins are in circulation, out of a total supply of about 17.36 billion, meaning roughly 65% of all PI tokens are available for trading. The circulating supply refers to the coins that can trade on the open market, while the total supply includes coins that are either locked or still to be distributed.
This difference impacts price expectations. Market capitalization is calculated by multiplying the price by the circulating supply, which puts PI’s market cap at around $890 million at its current price of $0.079. As new PI coins unlock, keeping the price the same would increase market cap, a situation called supply dilution. This means that buyers would need to invest significantly more to keep the price stable.
The $2.99 record highlights just how challenging it will be for PI to return to that level. At its peak price, PI’s current circulating supply would put its market cap at about $33.7 billion. If all 17.36 billion PI were in circulation, that number would soar to around $51.9 billion.
Some projects counteract dilution by implementing buyback strategies, like Hyperliquid does daily with its HYPE token. For PI holders, the timing of coin unlocks remains a key concern, since large releases could add selling pressure just as the summit draws attention to the token.
Pi Network’s First Ecosystem Summit Promises Releases but Few Details

The Pi Core Team, the project’s founders and developers, has promised to unveil new platform releases and developer updates during the summit. These tools could lead to more applications accepting PI for transactions, fulfilling a common expectation among holders.
However, the team has yet to specify particular products or launch dates, leaving buyers to invest in uncertain future developments.
PI’s 4% Summit Boost Hasn’t Overturned Its 30-Day Decline

The initial summit announcement provided a moderate boost, pushing PI up 4%. However, despite this uptick, PI has still fallen 12.3% over the past month, underscoring a deeper downward trend. The modest 1.4% weekly gain seems minor when viewed in this broader context.
Wider market trends also haven’t been supportive. For instance, Bitcoin (CRYPTO:BTC) fell 2.0% over 24 hours to around $81,800 on October 22, and about $430 million in leveraged positions were liquidated as mixed earnings from U.S. tech companies unsettled investors.
Historical Trends Show Event Rallies Often Fade

Crypto traders frequently buy in anticipation of a scheduled event and sell when it occurs, a phenomenon known as “buy the rumor, sell the news.” This trend is particularly pronounced when the event fails to meet heightened expectations. A recent example is Hedera, which jumped 27% after an IBM cloud deal announcement, only to give back 16% the next day.
XRP holders faced a similar situation before Ripple’s Las Vegas conference in April. So, if the summit releases come across as vague, early PI buyers might decide to take profits around November 19, when the event concludes. Furthermore, new unlocks around the same time could add more coins to the market, increasing competition for sellers.
Can the Pi Network Price Rally Before Its November Summit?
We foresee a potential modest uptick for PI as November 17 approaches. However, a sustained rally seems unlikely given the token’s 12.3% drop over the last month and the minimal boost from the summit announcement. The significant gap between the 11.28 billion circulating coins and the 17.36 billion total supply suggests upcoming unlocks could keep price pressure on, keeping the $2.99 record out of reach.
For a rally to persist, PI would need to stay above $0.079 through early November and convincingly rise past $0.10, roughly 27% higher. Additionally, the Pi Core Team would need to clarify specific products and their launch dates.
The key price level to watch the week after November 19 is $0.10. A close above this mark would suggest the summit gave buyers something tangible to grasp, while a drop below $0.079 would signal the event’s momentum has faded.
