About Parker-Hannifin

Parker Hannifin is a global manufacturer of motion and control technologies. It reports two segments:
- **Diversified Industrial:** Split into North America and International businesses, the International side covering EMEA, Asia Pacific and Latin America. It sells motion, control and filtration products to industrial OEM and aftermarket customers across many market verticals.
- **Aerospace Systems:** Serves aerospace OEMs and the aftermarket.

The company has grown through acquisitions. In the September 2026 quarter it completed the purchase of Filtration Group Corporation, which significantly expanded its filtration portfolio and aftermarket exposure. It is also integrating Curtis Instruments and has a pending acquisition of CIRCOR International's Commercial and Defense Aerospace business. Parker runs its business under a framework it calls The Win Strategy. It is a Fortune 250 company with a fiscal year ending June 30. Updated

A 5.41% slide to $911.12 from a $963.18 open is a rare one-day drop for a $115 billion industrial compounder, and it lands the same day the Q1 2027 earnings filing hit EDGAR. Watch whether buyers step in near this level.

Roughly $4 billion comes off an $89.7 billion automation name in a single session, a rare drop for a stock this defensive. The slide landed the same day Parker-Hannifin, a competitor, filed its fiscal Q1 earnings.

A 5.37% drop to $911.42 lands the same day Parker-Hannifin filed its Q1 2027 earnings, a rare single-session hit for a $115 billion industrial compounder. Keep an eye on whether the $963.18 open becomes resistance.

Parker-Hannifin raised full-year adjusted EPS guidance to $36.45 to $37.25 with Filtration Group now inside the numbers. Record backlog and rising orders are funding the added leverage from the deal.

Quarterly EPS — reported vs estimate
Strong market conditions, combined with execution of The Win Strategy™, delivered record adjusted segment operating margin of 28.6% and adjusted earnings per share growth of 23%.

Parker-Hannifin's margin ceiling just moved again, with fiscal first-quarter segment profitability setting a company record. For a $114.8 billion diversified manufacturer leveraged to aerospace and automation demand, the question now is how much higher the margin bar can go before mix stops cooperating.

With strong first quarter performance and increased order rates, we are raising our full year fiscal 2027 guidance for organic sales growth, adjusted segment operating margin, adjusted earnings per share and free cash flow.

Parmentier is raising all four fiscal 2027 targets at once, and the driver she names is rising order rates. For a $114.8 billion industrial bellwether spanning factory automation and aerospace, that is a demand signal worth tracking.

Parker team members delivered an exceptional quarter of record performance and an impressive start to our fiscal year. We experienced increased demand across all market verticals, resulting in double-digit organic sales growth and record backlog levels.

Every market vertical pulling at once is the rare setup that turns a record backlog into a forward revenue guarantee. With fiscal 2027 only one quarter old, the bar for the rest of the year just moved higher.

We are pleased to have completed the acquisition of Filtration Group Corporation, significantly expanding our filtration offering and aftermarket business and are excited to welcome these talented team members to Parker.

Parker-Hannifin's first-quarter commentary puts Filtration Group in the fold, and the strategic point is aftermarket: recurring filter replacement revenue is steadier than capital equipment cycles. For a $114.8 billion industrial leaning harder on deals for growth, the integration pace is what to track next.

PHParker-Hannifin
Regular session
$882.73
-6.29%open $942.00

A 6.3% drop to $882.73 strips roughly $7 billion from a $111 billion industrial bellwether, the kind of single-session hit this steady compounder rarely takes. Whether it holds the $880s into the close is the thing to watch.
